The insidious rhetoric of right-wingers, corporations and some governments equating eco-activism with "terrorism" is approaching epic intensity. Propagandizers whip up frenzied jingos and debates in order to entrench those seeking progressive ecological activities as 'domestic threats' in the imaginations of the populous. It is indeed very absurd (and funny at times) but also very dangerous for specific individuals and non-profit groups. The explicit goal of such slanderous assualts is to subvert any possible efforts to establish eco-justice that are not fully directed by corporate managers.
We need to do a better job of calling-out these private interest groups and elites for what they are: eco-fascists. They want to own and control all "natural resources" for private gain, and use any and all means necessary to remove barriers to their profit accumulation. They have the power (or so they assume) so they believe they also have the right to decide how we are exist in the world. When are we gonna stop these ignorance-peddlars from confusing our citizens and dismantling public democracy? Enough is enough.
The image below tells the story of how decision-makers evaluate those involved in political ecological movements. This image comes from Will Potter's website Green is the New Red. Will is an award-winning independent journalist based in Washington, D.C., who has become a leading authority on “eco-terrorism,” the environmental and animal rights movements, and civil liberties post 9/11.

For years Will Potter has tracked how lawmakers and corporations have labeled animal rights and environmental activists as “eco-terrorists.” And he has closely followed the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, the Earth Liberation Front arrests in “Operation Backfire,” and the landmark First Amendment case of the SHAC 7.
Will has testified before the U.S. Congress on his reporting, and frequently speaks with journalists and in public forums about efforts to roll back civil liberties in the name of fighting terrorism. Media interviews have included Democracy Now, United Press International and Air America. Speaking engagements have included the New York City Bar Association, Yale Law School and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, among many others

The "Rupert Murdocks" and the rest of the gang from "The Ministry of Truth"—very scary indeed. Thanks for your courage in posting this.
Hey Sharon,
I have this condition where i am unable to tolerate ideological stupidity, institutionalized greed, or human rights abuses, and become compelled to express my discontent. It's a terrible dis-ease, and I'm seeing the proper health professionals.... :-)
Thanks for your encouragement!
